Ben van Berkel's 2014 Gemini is full of movement, dynamism and Artifort DNA. Gemini comprises two asymmetrically-designed seat elements and a matching table. The design offers options for mixing and matching different colored upholstery selections to create highly compelling, personally-tailored compositions. The choices and possibilities are nearly endless. Gemini's one-piece seat shell invites the user to sit upright, or lounge and relax in comfort. One side of its shell almost reaches to the ground, while the other side flows upwards to form an ergonomically balanced backrest and contoured armrest. Gemini is particularly well suited for reception areas, lounges, lobbies and other commercial project settings where high-style, beauty and long-term utilitarian performance are required. Please call our expert, trained sales consultants directly with any questions you may have about designing a Gemini seating configuration to match your specific aesthetic and functional requirements.

UN Studio practices architecture as a discipline that possesses a wide range of scales and dimensions. The house, the department store, the railway station, the museum, the temporary installation and the theoretical manifesto are all intricate parts of their oeuvre. In recent years, the sofa, the chair, and the table have become integral parts of their extended body of work. The same enquiring and experimental attitude in which UN Studio approaches architecture is also employed in their designing of products. Designing furniture in the classical tradition of the architect/designer means the UN Studio's designs are related to architecture functionality. UN Studio's approach to product designs is based on the combination of a deep understanding and working knowledge of materials and innovative technology with distinctive spatial design strategies.
